Summary[]
"Wyoming" is the classification for a large rectangular void within the northwestern United States of America. For generations, the Americans and the rest of the world have been made to believe that Wyoming is the 44th state to cover up the abnormalities that it possesses.
History[]
Wyoming has launched multiple attacks across North America since its discovery by settlers in the 18th Century, although it may have attacked Indigenous populations beforehand. Explorers who would travel to the central and northwestern United States would frequently go missing, so much so that the government decided to investigate the area. However, out of the 27 military personnel that were sent, only 3 returned, and reported that the land was haunted by demons.
After years of study, we now know that those men were killed by creatures of the void; shadowy, nightmarish beings who come from another dimension. Wyoming serves as their entrance to our world, however, creatures of the void don't seem to be hostile, but rather territorial. The creatures only attack people who have seen or gained knowledge of the true nature of Wyoming, as there have never been reported cases of attacks of the unwary or unknowing. However, the lethality rate of these attacks has been 100% thus far, making the creatures an extreme threat if mass amounts of people gain knowledge of Wyoming's true nature.
The government has actually done a pretty good job of hiding Wyoming's identity. However, on November 4th, 1989 Garfield revealed the true identity of Wyoming's nonexistence with his appearance on the show "It Must Be True" and providing evidence as to how it doesn't exist. Everyone who watched the show was killed within an hour by creatures of the void. It was the largest mass casualty event in the United States of America, however, Garfield would escape and get away with his crimes. It is unclear as to why the creatures of the void did not attack him for his knowledge of Wyoming's true nature.
Some theorize that Wyoming is the gate to hell itself, while others think that Garfield somehow created it. Whatever it is, it poses a serious threat to North America and quite possibly the rest of the world.

Hidden: After countless studies, it has been revealed that Wyoming unlocks the ability to attack when people have knowledge of its true nature. The Government has made huge efforts to conceal The Void to keep it within it's own dimension, which is the best defense they have against it.
Range: There have only been recorded cases of attacks from Wyoming in North America, so void creatures may only be limited to a specific range, however this has yet to be proven.
