Summary[]
Shimejis are desktop pets that were first created for use on personal computers by Jarno Le Conté in 2015. Shimeji can be installed as a Google Chrome browser extension on the official Shimeji webpage, linked here.
Shimejis can perform a variety of behaviors, like walking, crawling, climbing, and interacting with webpages. However, Shimeji's main draw is their fact that they are very easy to modify, allowing artists to easily create their own Shimejis, which can be hosted on the official Shimeji webpage. Thanks to their accessibility, Shimejis can take many different forms, usually those of fictional characters from many different types of media. There is even an official Shimeji editor for creating Shimejis, which is hosted on the official webpage.

Weaknesses: Shimejis are incapable of conscious thought due to being simple computer programs, and because of that they are basically unable to fight.
