Joke Battles Wikia
I have watched the intro for a while, and I'm not sure of what kind of robot the protagonist is, or what's his name.

I couldn't find a decent render, have this instead.

Summary[]

So I'm the middle of the quarantine [Note for people reading in the future: There was a fairly long quarantine caused by a brand of beer of something like that, I don't remember too well] and I'm like: "Wow, imagine if I actually finished that dumb 90's TV show that is somehow responsible for about 50% percent of the memes on the Mega Man fandom".

But I guess I should talk about the character: Rock was Light's second robot prototype, built as a lab assistant (I think, it was implied but not outright stated) with human emotions. But after being kidnapped by Dr. Wily and Proto Man and barely escaping, Light decided to rebuild Rock as a warrior robot to be able to fight back and gave him the alias Mega Man.

Wow, I finally finished this profle, I'm not touching this show ever again. Click here to feel my pain, or here to simply understand it.

Powers and Stats[]

Tier: Low 7-B, higher with special weapons and meteor's fragment

Classification: SUPER FIGHTING ROBOT!

Name: MEGA MAN! (Yes, I put Classification right before Name just for this), civil name is Rock (Hey, they remembered this!)

Origin: Mega Man with American localization hammered in (Or maybe it was Canadian? Dunno, I forgot where the show has made in and I don't feel like looking it up)

Gender: Mega Man

Age: Probably not even a year, chronologically speaking. Mental and physical age seems to be based on a teenager

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Acrobatics (As shown here), Martial Arts (K-kinda), Energy Projection, Power Absorption, Weapon Mastery (Can use his Plasma Cannon to shoot energy blasts/various copied weapons and even utilized a broom as an effective weapon), Vehicular Mastery, Enhanced Senses (Sensed Proto Man's presence before he could sneak-attack him), Heat Manipulation (Shoots a heated blast that melts Ice Man's ice), Surface Scaling (Quickly climbed up a building), Electricity Manipulation (Disoriented Guts Man with a shock blast), Healing (Has a button in his access panel that activates his Manual Circuit Repair, but it is unknown if he can reach it), Inorganic Physiology (Type 2), Self-Sustenance (Types 1, 2 and 3), Underwater Breathing (Can move underwater with little to no air, even without using Super Turbine-Powered Underwater Defense Apparatus), Resistance to Acid Manipulation (His body can resist the corrosion of acid, but not for too long), Hacking (Was not affected by Wily's hacking device), Soul Manipulation, Mind Manipulation (As a robot, he lacks the soul of an organic being and can't be manipulated through typical mind manipulation techniques. Is immune to Wily's hypnotic music), Extreme Cold and Cosmic Radiation. Spaceflight (With Rocket Backpack), Flight (With Flight Suit and Stealth Glider), Invisibility (With Stealth Glider), Illusion Creation (With Holographic Projector), Homing Attack (With Flight Suit)

Flight, Transformation (Can turn into an unlimited number of vehicles such as a flying jetboard, a snowmobile and underwater propulsion device. Able to turn his nose into a jackhammer), Enhanced Senses (Hearing and smell. Also possesses X-Ray vision. Is programmed to sniff out anything. Could track the source of Wily's hypnotic music. Can tune into and track radio signals. Can zoom his eyes in to see things from far away and see through solid objects), Light Manipulation (Has a built-in flashlight in his nose), Information Analysis (Can analyze machines with his zoomed in eyes), Body Control and Regeneration (High-Mid; Can put himself back together after being smashed into pieces)

Attack Potency: Small City level (Vaporized enough water to dilute an acid rain. Defeated Proto Man in a fist fight, even knocking him out with a punch and sent him flying a far distance by kicking him, who can also survive Mega Man's plasma blasts himself), higher with special weapons (Most of them allow Mega Man to quickly defeat robots comparable to himself) and meteor's fragment (Can harm other robots powered by meteor's fragments, who he previously couldn't even scratch)

Speed: Superhuman (Can run away from a robosaur) with High Hypersonic (Managed to kick Guts Man while flying his rocket backpack, which can reach escape velocity) to Sub-Relativistic (Dodged laser beams in multiple occasions) reactions and combat speed

Lifting Strength: Superhuman (Can lift Wily's transport chamber, can drag the Sea Monster)

Striking Strength: Small City Class, higher with meteor's fragment

Durability: Small City level (Tanked a blast from Proto Man at point-blank that sent him flying backwards, which is as powerful as his own Plasma Cannon), higher with meteor's fragment. Higher with All-terrain Land Blazer (Unfazed by most attacks, with only Veil being capable of destroying it)

Stamina: Limitlesss due to being a robot

Range: Tens of meters with most weapons, unknown with Rain Flush (It spread throughout an entire city, but only after being combined with Light's antidote)

Standard Equipment: Plasma Cannon, Rush

Optional Equipment: Copied weapons, the following:

  • Rocket Backpack: Used for spaceflight.
  • Stealth Glider: A glider which can turn Mega Man invisible and increase the number of toys to sell.
  • Holographic Projector: Allows Mega Man to create holographic clones of himself, which can be used to confuse the enemy.
  • Meteor's Fragment: A crystal found by Wily inside a meteor, which can drastically enhance a robot's strength.
  • Marine Suit: A super turbine power underwater defense apparatus (Damn, that's mouthful) that allows Mega Man to swim faster underwater. The Plasma Cannon is replaced by a harpoon gun.
  • All-terrain Land Blazer: A durable, all-terrain vehicle equipped with a blaster and water skis.
  • Flight Suit: Allows Mega Man to fly and replaces his cannon with a mini-missile launcher with a homing beacon.

Intelligence: Above Average. Was able to outsmart Wily in many occasions and is competent in combat, both using his abilities and surrondings at his advantage, like when shooting a blast into the vents to take out Metal Man and ricocheting his plasma blasts. While he was initially narrow-minded (By refusing having Roll help him despite her showing to be really capable in combat too), he eventually overcame this (Wow, there's character development here?)

Weaknesses: Mega Man needs to drink an Energy Can before every battle, and might even run out of energy mid-battle if he uses too much or receives too much damage, leaving him with no weapons, decreasing his strength and, in extreme cases, leaving him unconscious (The pinnacle of efficiency everybody), but Eddie can give him another Energy Can if he's nearby. Rush has a similar problem, but it rarely affects his performance, if ever. Won't hesitate to put his life on danger in order to save innocent people, or historical monuments. Using the meteor's fragment for long periods of time can damage his circuits. Not selling enough toys

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Plasma Cannon: A long range left arm cannon. It can produce enough heat to weld a rail or melt the cannon of a tank, or shock and paralyze the target. Mega Man can also manually adjust how much energy he wants to use.
  • Variable Weapon System: Mega Man can steal the weapons of any robot he comes in contact with along with it's schematics, forcing them to rely on hand to hand combat or run away. Notably, Mega Man has shown to be able to use more than one special weapon at a time.
  • Rush: Mega Man's canine companion, which can turn into an unlimited amount of vehicles (AKA, whatever the plot needs) including the original Rush Jet, a personal watercraft, a glider, an underwater watercraft, whatever this is, whatever this is, a skateboard and a snowmobile. Can also put cushions is his paws for stealth, use his nose as a lamp or a jack-hammer, stretch his tongue and tail and make a bad Scooby-Doo impression, and has a compartment in his chest where he can store Eddie in, though Eddie dislikes this.
  • Special Weapons: A list of al the weapons Mega Man copied on the show. Keep in mind that most weapons go by unnamed, so only those that are similar to their original counterparts are named here.
    • Hyper Bomb: Mega Man hurls a small bomb that explodes on contact.
    • Rolling Cutter: A big scissor that relentlessly chases it's target, cutting through everything that gets in it's way.
    • Ice Slasher: A beam (Yup, Light says it is a beam) that freezes the target solid.
    • Pharaoh Shot: A powerful fire blast that can knock the target away at the cost of being punched in the face.
    • Power Stone: Mega Man shoots rocks at he target. This weapon manages to be more useful than it's game counterpart.
    • Drill Man's weapon: A drill that can be used as a normal drill, or fired. It can pierce stone and was able to damage Proto Man's arm cannon, rendering it useless. When powered by a meteor's fragment, the drill can explode on contact.
    • Ring Boomerang: A small ring that can be controled remotely, or maybe it just flies in the direction the plot needs, it's hard to tell tbh.
    • Magnet Man's weapon: Allows mega Man to use magnetism to either push or pull metalic objects.
    • Dust Crusher: Can suck up objects into a vacuum on his back, to then fire them at full speed.
    • Search Snake: A snake shaped missile that can chew through almost any surface.
    • Air Shooter: It unleashes a large tornado that traps opponents and blows them away.
    • Gyro Attack: A propeller attached to Mega Man's Back that allows him to fly. Should be able to throw it like Gyro Man does.
    • Spark Shock: A long electrode on Mega Man's cannon that electrocutes on contact.
    • Metal Blade: A saw blade that slices through anything in it's path and can change trajectory.
    • Rain Flush: A missile that can be fired up to cause an acid rain.
    • Leaf Shield: A big, leaf-shaped piece of metal attached to Mega Man's cannon that can be used to block attacks.
    • Crystal Eye: A crystal ball that can be fired to... uhhh... hit things.
    • Electro Neutralizer: A ray that emits radiation, which can immobilize the target, or have it's polarity reverted to undo the effects. It has shown to affect both humans and robots.
    • Water Wave: A churning funnel of water which is able to deflect enemies and some projectile attacks. It is unknown if it can work on land.
    • Dive Missile: An underwater missile. It is unknown if it can work on land.
    • Quick Boomerang: A sharp boomerang-like projectile. It also has and energy-based variant.
    • Dark Man's weapon: An electric net that can trap the opponent
    • Thunder Beam: A lightning bolt. It can spread on metallic surfaces.
    • Proto Man's Plasma Cannon: It doesn't give Mega Man any aditional abilities, but instead powers up his own Plasma Cannon.
    • Robo-Spider's Weapon: A spider web-like net that can absorb the energy from electronic devices, power plants, and even other robots.
    • Mummy-Bot's Weapon: An energy blaster. Talk about redundant.
    • Star Crash: A star-shaped projectile that is... star-shaped... and a projectile. Call me crazy, but I think they are running out of creativity.
    • Hard Knuckle: A rocket-boosted punch.
