King Arthur was a legendary British leader who, according to medieval histories and romances, led the defense of Britain against Saxon invaders in the late 5th and early 6th centuries. The details of Arthur's story are mainly composed of folklore and literary invention, and his historical existence is debated and disputed by modern historians.

Intelligence: Gifted (Became the king of the prosperous nation of Camelot at the age of fourteen, and was a skilled politician and leader being able to effectively lead armies into battle and governing most of Britain by the end of their rule. Was considered unrivaled in the use of a sword in their time and has clashed with even the strongest heroes in swordplay. Was able to killed 10.940, 12.470 and 4.000 warriors in singular battle and wound 5.000 additional individuals, Is considered high-class Servant, he can go toe-to-toe with all but the strongest Servants in one-on-one combat, managing to fight on par with Gilgamesh and easily trumped Lancer. Far superior in skill to the likes of Yuuto Kiba and Xenovia Quarta.  Is also knowledgeable of magic, having been Merlin's apprentice in her youth, and is familiar with most European Heroic Spirits, quickly recognizing Cú Chulainn and Diarmuid Ua Duibhne after seeing their Noble Phantasms once. Addtionally he’s learned various techniques from people of different backgrounds, like a Chinese kung-fu master and Viking sailors. Knowledgeable on trivial information such as the airspeed of swallows.)

Weaknesses: His scabbard can be stolen from him, denying him the protection and regeneration it provides. Her sixth sense can be fooled by things that Saber has never experienced.

Noble Phantasms[]

Invisible Air: Bounded Field of the Wind King: A mysterious wind that hides Excalibur's identity. It is a Bounded Field, closer to regular magic than a Noble Phantasm, presumably created by Merlin. The powerful winds around the blade distort light, rendering Excalibur completely invisible and its shape near-impossible to discern, keeping her opponents confused and unable to properly gauge its size and length, or even what kind of weapon it is. Once they figure it out, however, it becomes useless in this regard. It takes on Excalibur's sharp edge, and Saber can use it to form a defensive wall of wind large enough to envelop a building. Once the barrier is released, the compressed wind surges around her and can be released as a single-shot weapon, known as Strike Air: Hammer of the Wind King. She can also use it to propel herself forwards at greater speeds.

Excalibur: Sword of Promised Victory: King Arthur's most famous divine sword. It is a crystallization of humanity's wishes forged by the planet itself. Much like Excalibur Proto, it is a weapon designed to protect the earth from the threat of chaos and destruction. Due to its incredible potential for devastation, its real power is restricted by multiple oaths.

When activated, it converts Saber's magical power into light that is then released as a destructive wave of energy on the level of Divine Thaumaturgy. Despite this function's appearance, only the tip of this energy wave can do damage, as the rest of the light emitted by Excalibur is the dislocation of everything it has destroyed along its path. Excalibur also boasts one of the fastest activation speeds among Noble Phantasms, matching the charging speed of both the original Pegasus and Iskandar's chariot, completing its activation in less than a second. Saber has also demonstrated the ability to partially invoke Excalibur's power in both melee combat and its activated form, dispelling Invisible Air to cut down Assassin in a single strike and forcing Gilgamesh to dodge an attack with a thinner beam that was charged while in motion.

Avalon: The Everdistant Utopia: Excalibur's sheath, a Divine Construct of the same origin. Passively, Avalon bestows immortality and regeneration upon its wielder; they stop aging and can regenerate even from blows that remove most of their torso and heart. It cannot, however, restore a destroyed brain. Its real power is in its active use as an "absolute defense." It puts the user in Avalon, the land of the fairies, the unreachable utopia that the king strived to reach in life. It dissipates into magical particles and becomes a "portable fortress" that blocks off any interference, even up to the sixth dimension. It is on the level of true magic, and not even the Five Magics can bypass the barrier.

Magic Resistance: An innate ability that grants protection against magical effects. Unlike the Resistance effect that merely rejects magical energy, this ability cancels the magic altogether. Due to possessing the blood of dragons, Saber has a stellar A-Rank in this ability, rendering her virtually invulnerable to all modern magi's spells and even of Caster's from the Age of Gods. This also applies to indirect magic attacks, such as magical hypnosis, petrification, and spatial manipulation.

Riding: The ability to ride mounts. Saber is proficient in this ability due to riding horses throughout her life, resulting in B rank Riding and allowing her to ride practically any horse or modern vehicle with complete control, even things from far beyond her time such as the heavily modified Yamaha V-Max Kiritsugu customized for her though due to having lived in the Age of Man, this does not extend to mounts such as those under the Phantasmal species. While under Kiritsugu, her Riding rank rises to A, further increasing her ability to ride all known regular mounts and vehicles but still falling short to ride those of the Divine and Phantasmal species. Using the bike mentioned above, her previous master made for her and enhancing it with her Mana Burst ability, she was able to keep pace with Rider's chariot and easily dodges the latter's attacks while veering through traffic, reading the airflow to allow her to accomplish such feats with her eyes closed.

Personal Skills[]

Charisma: The natural talent to command an army, which increases the ability of allies during group battles. It is said that a rank of B in this skill is sufficient to lead a nation as its King.

Instinct: The power to "feel" the most favorable developments for oneself during battle. Saber has an A-Rank in this skill, granting her a refined sixth sense that is close to real precognition that allows her to avoid a death blow from Cu's Gae Bolg as well as Sasaki Koujirou's Tsubame Gaeshi and finding an opening in their second encounter, in addition to halving the hindrance that visual and auditory obstructions would generally provide.

Mana Burst: A skill that allows for an increase in performance by infusing one's weapons and body with magical energy, for both defensive and offensive purposes, effectively recreating the effects of a jet burst. Saber uses this skill mainly for her sword techniques, defense, and high-speed movement, propelling herself across the battlefield at high speeds while reinforcing her entire body with magical energy. With A-rank, even a stick can become a great weapon. Due to this and with her own innate high magical capacity, she can even fight off and take Berserker's blows, though ultimately would lose due to Shirou's inability to provide her with sufficient mana.

Other Abilities[]

Blessing of the Lady of the Lake: Saber has also received the blessings of Vivian, the Lady of the Lake, who bestowed Excalibur to the young king. As a result, she can walk on water as if it were solid ground without any movement speed or traction change. However, she does not know how to swim because of this blessing until Shirou Emiya taught her later.

Excalibur Vivian: Sword of Sunlight-Glittering Victory: A variation of Artoria's Excalibur, gifted a water attribute due to it being a gift from the Lady of the Lake. Artoria dashes at her opponent while firing at them with her water gun, before dicing them with Excalibur in melee. She then attaches the sword to the end of her water gun and fires an extremely destructive wave of energy on par with Divine Thaumaturgy.

Class Skills[]

Independent Action: The ability to remain independent and exist in the world without the magical energy supplied by a Master, allowing the Servant to act autonomously and the Master to save their own magical energy for spells. With A-Rank, Artoria is capable of remaining active for a week without a Master but requires their backup when using large amounts of mana with her Noble Phantasm.

Magic Resistance: An innate ability that grants protection against magical effects. Unlike the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Like her Saber self, Artoria possesses an A-Rank in this skill, canceling any spells below A-Rank, including High Thaumaturgy. As a result, she is almost untouchable by modern mages and can only be harmed by spells from the Age of Gods.

Territory Creation: A skill that doubles as Mana Burst (Water). With a blessing from Vivian, the Lady of the Lake, Artoria highly boosts the morale of her comrades, raises their accuracy and Luck, clears their irritation and refreshes them.

Personal Skills[]

Beach Flower: A skill that determines how much attention Artoria will receive from the opposite sex. When used at the beach, it's only a step behind the destructive power of other Servants.

Protection of the Beach Houses: A skill that heals Artoria at the cost of lowering her mana. At the beach, Artoria is known as the "King of Foods" due to her lavish orders, with the sight of her having her meals being pleasant, and the smile she makes after finishing is told to make those establishments prosper.

Summer Splash!: A form of Mana Burst that has been altered thanks to Vivian. While its firepower has decreased, the time in which its efficiency has increased. In addition, Artoria can use it to increase the defensive power of her party.

Caliburn: Golden Sword of the Victorious: The holy sword that Artoria Pendragon pulled from the stone in her youth to become king. While it is weaker than Excalibur, as it is a blade forged by mortal hands, out of the two it is Artoria's preferred weapon as she trained with it in her youth. When she first drew it from the stone, it filled her surroundings with a golden light, making her "something inhuman" and stopping her aging. It can be used in a similar method to Excalibur, converting Artoria's magical energy into heat and releasing it as a beam of light that killed Berserker seven times over when used by her older self and Shirou. Although it is inferior to Excalibur, it can showcase a similar output if Artoria overloads it with her magical energy at the cost of its own destruction.

Class Skills[]

Magic Resistance: An innate ability that grants protection against magical effects. Unlike the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Due to her young age, the heart of the dragon inside her has not awoken, and Saber Lily's Magic Resistance is thus lower than that of her adult self. It is still powerful enough to negate magecraft of B-rank or lower, even High-Thaumaturgy.

Riding: The ability to ride mounts. Due to her training as a knight, and the time she's spent with horses, Saber Lily's C-rank can flawlessly ride animals and drive vehicles that have been properly trained or adjusted.

Personal Skills[]

Blossoming Journey: A blessing on the knight who had only just begun her journey to become king. Due to her idealism and hopefulness, the hearts of those Saber Lily fights alongside are lifted and they fight more actively, inspired by her example.

Instinct: The power to "feel" the most favorable developments for oneself during battle. While not as sharp as her older self's instincts, Saber Lily's senses are still highly refined, and due to her B-rank in this skill, it reaches the level of true precognition and allows her to reduce the penalties that visual obstructions cause by 50%. She has a knack for picking up on the troubles of others and is driven to help all those in need.

Mana Burst: A skill that allows for an increase in performance by infusing one's weapons and body with magical energy, for both defensive and offensive purposes, effectively recreating the effects of a jet burst. Saber Lily uses this skill mainly for defense and high-speed movement, propelling herself across the battlefield at high speeds while reinforcing her entire body with magical energy. With A-rank, even a stick can become a great weapon.

Excalibur Morgan: Sword of Promised Victory: The blackened form that Excalibur takes on after Saber is corrupted by All the World's Evil. It is still the most powerful magic sword despite its corruption. When activated as a Noble Phantasm, the entire blade is covered in black flames, which are then released in a stream of energy to destroy everything in its path. It can also be utilized in close combat, known as Vortigern: Hammer of the Vile King, cutting the target to pieces while the blade is coated in a dark aura. In Heaven's Feel, Saber Alter can freely fire this with virtually no limit in contrast to her standard counterpart due to having access to more energy than ever, thanks to Sakura's connection to the Grail.

Class Skills[]

Magic Resistance: The ability to completely nullify and shrug off oncoming magical attacks. Unlike the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Saber Alter's B-Rank in this ability is enough to cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if she is targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for her to be affected.

Riding: The ability to ride mounts with proficiency. Saber Alter lost her ability to utilize this skill due to her corruption.

Personal Skills[]

Charisma: The ability to lead armies into battle. Saber's rank in this skill has fallen to E after her corruption. As a result, she can still preside, but her troops' morale will sharply drop under her command.

Instinct: The power to "feel" the most favorable developments for oneself during battle. Artoria's senses are dulled due to the constant suppression of rage caused by Angra Mainyu's corruption, which degraded her Instinct to B-rank. However, it remains, and due to Saber Alter's more pragmatic fighting style, she is more likely to take action.

Mana Burst: A skill that allows for an increase in performance by infusing one's weapons and body with magical energy, for both defensive and offensive purposes, effectively recreating the effects of a jet burst. As Saber Alter, she engulfs her attacks with the dark mana surging through her body, causing black arcs to follow the path of her sword as she strikes with greater force than she ever could originally. She can also release her mana's bursts as projectiles in an attack called Burst Air. She can also manipulate and shape the mana she releases into the shape of a dragon's head to grab, bite, and throw her target in an attack called Tyrant Clap or convert them into dark tendrils to strike opponents.

Excalibur Morgan: Sword of Promised Victory: The greatest Holy Sword. Even after being blackened by the mud of All The World's Evils, its status remains unchanged. Upon activation, it converts Artoria's magical energy into a beam of concentrated energy that takes the appearance of concentrated flames, destroying everything the tip of the beam passes through.

  • Vortigern: Hammer of the Vile King: In close quarters, the energy produced by Excalibur Morgan can be instead utilized as a powerful melee attack.

  • Magic Resistance: An innate ability that grants protection against magical effects. Unlike the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Due to possessing the blood of dragons, Artoria has a stellar A-Rank in this ability, rendering her virtually invulnerable to all of Caster's spells from the Age of Gods. This also applies to indirect magical attacks, such as magical hypnosis, petrification, and spatial manipulation.
  • Riding: The ability to ride mounts. Artoria's A-Rank in this skill allows her to deftly ride any modern vehicle with expert skill to superhuman speeds, though she primarily sticks to her sleigh, Llamrei II, which can deliver any gift within one day of the order date by propelling it with her Mana Burst.

Artoria uses this skill mainly for defense and high-speed movement, propelling herself across the battlefield at high speeds while reinforcing her entire body with magical energy. With A-rank, even a stick can become a great weapon. Through this, Santa Alter is capable of engulfing her attacks with mana, creating black arcs that flow from her sword to strike with far greater power than even her normal blows. However, to ensure she doesn't damage her presents, its rank has been reduced from A to A-.
  • Saint's Gift: A skill acquired by those who have taken up the role of Santa Claus. Due to her EX-Rank in this skill, Artoria is an expert in offering gifts that delight others. But since she is able to offer gifts that are slightly different from the receiver's desires, she is able to perceive and perturb the hidden traumas of others.

Secace Morgan: Sword of Tenacious Burning Victory: The Noble Phantasm of Artoria Alter while in her Swimsuit form. It is a combination of her Excalibur Morgan and the short sword Secace, a dagger Arthur was said to only be able to use in a life or death situation in battle. The two weapons change form throughout Artoria Alter’s ascensions, with Secace going through several firearm forms of various shapes and form while Excalibur Morgan starts out as a balloon sword and mop alternatively before going back to its proper sword form. The two are combined into a sniper rifle that Artoria Alter uses to blast her foes away before heading in the employer's territory.

Independent Action: The ability to remain independent and exist in the world without the magical energy supplied by a Master, allowing the Servant to act autonomously and the Master to save their own magical energy for spells. Due to her conviction of being a free maid in service who should not be forced onto someone else, Artoria Alter has obtained this skill at an extraordinary rank of EX, effectively allowing her to operate without ever needing a master.

Magic Resistance: The ability to completely nullify and shrug off oncoming magical attacks. Unlike the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Artoria Alter’s B-Rank in this ability is enough to cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if she targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for her to be affected.

Riding: The class skill of Rider and Saber class Servants, allowing them to ride any mount and modern vehicle with superb skill. Artoria Alter’s B rank Riding allows her to ride most mounts and vehicles, such as the motorcycle she wields in her Noble Phantasm, with supernatural skill despite it not having existed in her time. However, creatures on the level of Phantasmal Beasts are beyond her control.

Coaching: Artoria in this form has become a sort of home tutor, having changed to that of a strict and cold-blooded deposition. Through her strict guidance, she tries to reform improper fighting styles of others, though her Spartan-like training causes those who are inflicted by this to suffer damage.

Reloaded: The water pistol Artoria uses is from her own mana. It acts similar to that of the Mana Burst (Water) skill but is used for something else. In Artoria Alter’s case, she uses it in a manner of spraying her attacks and, due to the nature of this skill, allows her to keep shooting for as long as she wants and, when chained together with Coaching, can potentially even make her shots a one-hit kill.

Summer Sweeper: A skill that have been converted from her Mana Burst for use of domestic helpers, showcasing Artoria Alter’s skills as an expert of washing anything with water. It increases her agility while anyone around her are supervised, increasing their morale in the process.

Rhongomyniad: The Spear That Shines To The Ends Of The Earth: The holy lance of King Arthur, a blessed spear regarded in the same light as the holy spear Longinus, that which pierced the Messiah. As a weapon, it is incredibly powerful, capable of instantly punching through Mordred's armor to kill her in a single blow, as if there was nothing in its way at all. But its true power lies in its activation. The holy spear itself is only a shadow of the true Rhongomyniad, a tower of light that fastens the outer layer of the World and the Reverse Side of the World beneath it in place. Were this anchor to be undone, it would result in "reality" being torn from the surface of the World, revealing the Reverse Side of the World underneath it and reinstating the Age of Gods. For this reason, Rhongomyniad is regarded as the "spear of the end".

Much like Excalibur Proto, Rhongomyniad's true power is restricted by the Thirteen Restraints of the Round Table. Its true power only shows when half of the seals are released, showcasing the brilliance that exists at the Ends of the Earth. Without half of its Restraints released, it only showcases a tiny fragment of its true power, but even this has great power. The Restraints that are known thus far are:

Having once ruled Britain in a time where it was exposed to attacks by foreign enemies and having repelled them in turn, Artoria possesses such a high rank in this skill.

Mana Burst: A skill that allows for an increase in performance by infusing one's weapons and body with magical energy, for both defensive and offensive purposes, effectively recreating the effects of a jet burst. As a Lancer, Artoria uses this ability as she did when she was a Saber, using it to propel herself across the battlefield at high speeds while reinforcing her entire body with magical energy. With A-rank, even a stick can become a great weapon.

Bright Ehangwen: Be Brilliant, Our Radiant Hall: The Noble Phantasm of Artoria Pendragon as Ruler. A high mobility reception hall that conquers the surface of the water, temporarily embodies Ehangwen, King Arthur's Hall, and shoots an oversized magical light onto the entire enemy line, the biggest attack of Artoria Ruler, Lion King of Swimsuits. It is unclear whether the past Ehangwen had such navigational ability and artillery ability, but according to her own words "it has never done that" or "it cannot do that". There is a certain pattern. On the other hand, regarding bombardment, there is a suspicion that "Is it actually done with the loaded Rhongomyniad" or "Is it actually the same Noble Phantasm as Lancer?" She is silent about this.

  • Royal Bunny: There’s something shiny atop the King’s head, what is that! Ears reminiscent of an animal! So it must be a curse or the lingering resentment of a snarling beast hailing from Britain ages ago, which afflicts King Arthur. What terrifying, snarling beast it must be, oh my, for it to bare its fangs at the King even after Millenia has passed...No that’s not true. Our King has simply taken an interest in that which is known as Bunny Girls.
  • Royal Card: That which the King has taking to throwing, does not appear to be the likes of daggers. As a Casino Dealer, one must perfect one’s handling of cards, as the King decreed. Though it appears that the method of throwing has the enemy’s annihilation as an objective.
  • Knight of the Lion: In the past, it is said that Sir Ywain fought alongside lions. Thus, is there any need for surprise that, as his Liege, our King controls lions of light. Or perhaps, on the brink of changing Saint Graphs, the King selected as her own the skill that was meant to belong to Sir Ywain.

Rhongomyniad: The Spear That Shines To The Ends Of The Earth: King Arthur's holy lance and Artoria's primary Noble Phantasm, it is a twisted, thorned version of the original weapon that reflects the inhuman countenance. Like its original counterpart, it is a Divine Construct that is a mere "shadow" of the true Rhongomyniad, an anchor of light that stitches together reality to the Reverse Side of the World. Should more than half of its thirteen restraints be released, reality would be torn from the surface of the Earth, bringing back the age of fantasy and magic, effectively reinstating the Age of Gods. The known restraints are:

  • The enemy must be more powerful than oneself.
  • The battle must be one-on-one.
  • The enemy must not be an Elemental.
  • The battle must be one against evil.
  • The battle must not involve personal gain.
  • The battle must not be inhumane.
  • The battle must be honorable.
  • The battle must be for the truth.
  • The battle must be to live.
  • The battle must be to save the world.

However, this version of Artoria has never released more than half of Rhongomyniad's restraints. But releasing even a single restraint to unleash a partial invocation of this Noble Phantasm's True Name can showcase incredible power befitting a Divine Construct. Differing from her traditional Lancer's usage of the Noble Phantasm as a holy strike from above, Artoria instead allows Rhongomyniad to rapidly spin, gathering a blackened storm of wind, lightning, and mana that she unleashes upon her foes.

  • Invisible Air: Bounded Field of the Wind King: Unlike her traditional Lancer counterpart, Artoria retains her usage of this Noble Phantasm. She doesn't use it to hide the shape of her spear, simply utilizing it in conjunction with her Mana Burst skill to increase her agility dramatically and to amplify the force of her blows. Compared to the compressed projectile used by her Saber counterpart, Artoria's Hammer of the Wind King lacks penetration power, instead gaining a dramatic increase in range, power, and area of effect to mow her foes down.

As a Lancer, Artoria uses this ability as she did when she was a Saber, using it to propel herself across the battlefield at high speeds while reinforcing her entire body with magical energy. With an A-rank in this skill, even a stick can become a great weapon capable of matching the force produced by a legendary weapon, but without a sufficiently durable weapon like Rhongomyniad, it's unlikely that the weapon will survive the clash.

Noble Phantasms[]

  • Secretcalibur: Sword of Unsigned Victory: is the Noble Phantasm of Mysterious Heroine X. Normally wielding just Excalibur in her right hand, X summons Excalibur Morgan into her left hand and causes both to surge with power. She utilizes them as a rocket boost that blasts her towards the opponent. She slashes them repeatedly with both swords and then jumps into the air. As she descends, she shouts Excalibur, slashes with both swords in an overhead swing, and creates an X-shaped beam as she hits the opponent.

Class Skills[]

  • Presence Concealment: The ability to hide one's presence as a Servant and the class skill of Assassins. It renders them difficult to detect through normal and magical means, making it suitable for spying on others but will reveal them once they start to attack. However, X does not believe herself to be an Assassin and instead sees herself as a Saber. Thus, this skill is currently sealed away due to her personal belief.
  • Riding: the Class Skill of Rider and Saber, is the ability to ride mounts. Rider-class Servants will typically possess a high rank, and A-rank can allow for Phantasmal Beasts and Divine Beasts to be mounted. It is said that dragon type mounts are an exception, requiring a different ability other than Riding. Due to her EX rank, She cannot ride pretty much anything but displays amazing performance when steering spaceships, to the point that she can make them warp even if they are not installed with a warp function.
  • Cosmo Reactor: A cosmic reactor allowed only to the multiplying Sabers. It is reacting to various things. Settings, for example.

Personal Skills[]

  • Back-Up Fire: A skill that reflects X's willingness to call in covering fire from her spaceship, the Dun Stallion II, to catch her foes off guard and stagger them before she moves in for the kill. In a one-on-one fight between fellow swordsmen, there are no unexplored territories nor soulful tactics.
  • Galactic Meteor Sword: A special skill given to Saber that allows her to deal extra damage to those that fall under the Saber class, a skill that can otherwise be known as a "Saber killer".
  • Instinct: The power to "feel" the course that leads to the best possible outcome in battle. X has a C+ Rank in this skill, considerably lower than the normal Artoria's. But only when facing a Saber does her instincts rank-up to A, allowing her to senses to match that of the normal Artoria's that borders on precognition and halving the hindrance that visual and auditory obstructions would normally provide.

Noble Phantasms[]

Invisible Air: Bounded Field of the Wind King: Excalibur Proto's sheath, a mysterious wind that hides its true identity, preventing other Servants from identifying him. It is a Bounded Field, closer to normal magecraft than a Noble Phantasm, presumably created by Merlin. The powerful winds around the blade distort light, rendering Excalibur completely invisible and its shape near-impossible to discern, keeping his opponents confused and unable to accurately gauge its size and length, or even what kind of weapon it is. Once they figure it out, however, it becomes useless in this regard. It acts as one of Excalibur Proto's several seals.

Excalibur Proto: Sword of Promised Victory: The strongest holy sword, and King Arthur's most famous and powerful Noble Phantasm. It is a Divine Construct meant to save the world by defeating those capable of destroying the planet. It is locked by two seals, one of which is Invisible Air and the second of which are the Restraints of the Round Table, set upon the blade by the Knights of the Round Table. Its true power only shows once over half of the seals have been released, and the seals are as follows:

  • The enemy must be more powerful than oneself.
  • The battle must be one-on-one.
  • The enemy must not be an Elemental.
  • The battle must be one against evil.
  • The battle must not involve personal gain.
  • The battle must not be inhumane.
  • The battle must be honorable.
  • The battle must be for the truth.
  • The battle must be to live.
  • The battle must be to save the world.

With but one Restraint released, upon activation, Excalibur Proto fired a thin but powerful beam of light that easily overpowered the Sword of Paracelsus, and a second attack overloaded the sword. With an unknown amount of Restraints released, he was able to destroy Gilgamesh's Star of Destruction and stop the Surge of Utnapishtim. When over half of its Restraints are released, it shows its true power as a Divine Construct meant to save the world, capable of defeating beings capable of destroying the Earth.

Due to possessing the blood of dragons and existing during the Age of Gods, Saber has a stellar A-Rank in this ability, rendering him virtually invulnerable to even magecraft from the Age of Gods, as with his mainstream counterpart.

Riding: The ability to ride mounts. At B-rank, Saber is proficient in this ability due to riding horses throughout his life, allowing him to ride practically any horse or modern vehicle with complete control.

Charisma: The natural talent to command an army, which increases the ability of allies during group battles. It is said that a rank of B in this skill is sufficient to lead a nation as its King. Arthur's Charisma is specialized for fighting against large animals, but he is incapable of displaying it as he usually ends up alone against them as his allies cannot keep up when fighting against the large animals.

Giant Beast Hunting: A skill representing one's vast experience in combating giant enemy lifeforms and magical beasts. Having fought against and defeated all the magical creatures that invaded Britain during his life, Saber has an A-rank in this skill.

Instinct: The power to "feel" the most favorable developments for oneself during battle. Saber has an A-Rank in this skill, granting him a refined sixth sense that is close to real precognition in addition to halving the hindrance that visual and auditory obstructions would normally provide.

Mana Burst: A skill that allows for an increase in performance by infusing one's weapons and body with magical energy, for both defensive and offensive purposes, effectively recreating the effects of a jet burst. Saber uses this skill mainly for defense and high-speed movement, propelling himself across the battlefield at high speeds while reinforcing his entire body with magical energy. With A-rank, even a stick can become a great weapon.

  • Steadfast: Each ability that damages a god results in a stack of Steadfast, reducing damage taken and increasing energy gain. Each time King Arthur uses an ability he swaps between his Standard and Combo Abilities. All abilities are Instant Cast. Attack Speed and Item Passives do not benefit his Basic Attacks. Attack Speed increases his energy gain.
  • Overhead Slash (Hamstring): Standard: King Arthur deals a devastating overhead blow in Melee range that creates a slashing attack that travels forwards. Enemies hit by the Melee strike take bonus damage from the Slicing attack. Combo: King Arthur swipes low, crippling and damaging enemies that are struck.
  • Battle Stomp (Uppercut): Standard: King Arthur stomps on the ground with heavy force, causing enemies around him to take damage and become slowed. Combo: King Arthur charges forward, stopping on first god hit. At the end of the charge King Arthur unleashes an uppercut, knocking up enemies into the air.
  • Twin Cleave (Bladestorm): Standard: King Arthur unleashes two cleave attacks while charging forward. Enemies hit by a cleave take damage and have their protections reduced. Combo: King Arthur swings Excalibur around him, charging forward and damaging enemies 5 times before winding up a final strike that deals more damage. King Arthur is immune to Knockup for the duration.
  • Sundering Strike (Excalibur's Wrath): 35 Energy: King Arthur winds up a massive jab, charging forwards slightly before striking. Enemies hit by this jab are stunned for 1s. 80 Energy: King Arthur charges forward with Excalibur drawn. If King Arthur hits an enemy god, he launches them into the air and unleashes a barrage of 6 attacks, after which he launches them back to the ground dealing damage to the target and any enemy below.

Holy Sword Excalibur: Arthur is the hero chosen to wield Excalibur by the souls of heroes residing in it. The sword has passed from hero to hero for countless generations, becoming infused with their collective skill and power. When wielding it Arthur gains the various skills learned by all the heroes of the past.

  • Dance of Avidya: A technique created by a blind swordsman capable of countering "any and all manner of surprise attacks" as if done automatically.
  • Deathpecker: A technique of War King Tartenos which consists of many quick, consecutive lunges. The blows seemingly keep hitting as the target is pushed backward. Arthur was able to push Zeldris many meters back using this technique.

  • Excalibur: A legendary dual Magical Heritage. It originally had the shape of a sword and sheath, with the sword using magic power to release extended slashes for offense and a sheath that was said to make the user invulnerable for defense. However, Excalibur’s previous wielder, a witch, was defeated by the Inquisition over a hundred years ago and the sword and sheath were both broken. When they were put back together by Valhalla, Excalibur was remade into a railgun that shoots a large mass of magical power as a projectile at several times the speed of sound (It is considered similar in performance to Alchemist’s railguns, which can reach Mach 10 speeds), though it still can be used as a melee weapon due to the blades on its sides. The sheath was turned into a holster. As a railgun, it has to cool off between shots, so it is unable to rapid-fire and can only fire once every few seconds.
    • Sheath Barrier: Excalibur’s sheath creates an invisible passive barrier around the user that blocks all incoming attacks, even from anti-magic bullets. The barrier can adjust itself, for example, it can go from stopping projectiles a small distance around the user to become a thin layer when the user fights in close quarters. Additionally, the barrier regenerates from all damage suffered, so even if an enemy makes a hole it can eventually close itself.
    • Knights of the Round: Excalibur’s intrinsic magic, a spell that can be cast by using the Magical Heritage even if the user has no magic talent. The user plants Excalibur in the ground, and a big magic circle appears in their vicinity. After a magic chant, images of eleven knights apparently made out of light will surge from the circle towards the enemy at incredible speed, performing their strongest blows, be it with swords, spears, bow, shield, etc. The knights can also be released in all directions around the user. Arthur surrounds himself in a powerful magical barrier while he chants in order to prevent the enemy from interrupting him. Chant: “Our destiny is glory. We shall walk the path of chivalry together. Inseparable companions of mine, knights of mine. In the name of the oath I gather thou hither—Knights of the Round.”
  • Burst (散華 (バースト) lit. Glorious Death): A self-destruction spell that concentrates all the magic in one's body to induce a large explosion.

  • Abandonment: A skill which raises evasion.
    • Sword Art Flash: A skill which mows down surrounding enemies.
    • Go-No-Sen: A skill which allows him to counter enemy attacks.
    • Magic Prediction: A skill which allows him to when next hit by a magical attack to negate damage to 0.
    • Prediction: A skill which allows him to when next hit by a physical attack to negate damage to 0.
