“ | Dear gentleman with the solrock. I hate you with a burning passion. You are so inept at raid battles it is mind boggling. You know you need to break shields yet you use cosmic power. You know the dynamax Pokemon uses stat boost clears. yet again you use cosmic power. You are arguably worse than the focus sash Magikarp. | „ |

Summary[]
Gentleman Martin is one of the most infamous trainers that can assist the player during an offline max raid battle. He is renowned for his brilliant strategy of making his partner Solrock utilize nothing but the move Cosmic Power, despite the fact that Dynamax Pokémon have the ability to reset stat changes. Due to his unfathomable strategical mind, Gentleman Martin has been the target of multiple online discour most primarily on R/Pokemon.

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Flight (Has the ability Levitate which makes it float in the air), Non-Physical Interaction (Can interact with Ghost-types who are unaffected by normal type attacks), Pressure Points (Critical Hits are described as pressure points), Limited Instinctive Reaction (Pokémon can dodge attacks in their sleep), Damage Boost (STAB increases damage by 50% if the move is the same type as the Pokémon's type), Size Manipulation (Pokémon are able to change their size in order to shrink, Pokéballs are a way to use this ability to capture them), Rage Power (When enraged, a Pokémon can increase his offensive and defensive statistics), Light Manipulation (When it rotates, its body shines, giving off blinding light similar to the sun), Telepathy (Is capable of reading the emotions of others alongside being able to sense what a foe is thinking), Heat Manipulation (By rotating its body, Solarock gives off intense heat), Absorption (During the day, It absorbs solar energy. Can absorb a mystical power from space with Cosmic Power), Statistics Amplification (With Cosmic Power, it absorbs a mystical power from space in order to increase both its Defense and Sp. Def stats. With Rock Polish, in which it polishes its body to reduce drag which sharply raises its Speed stat), Earth Manipulation (With Rock Throw in which it attacks the foe with a shower of small, easily thrown rocks), Telekinesis and Statistics Reduction (With Psychic in which it attacks its foe with a strong telekinetic force which may reduce the target's Sp. Def stat), Resistance to Normal-Type, Flying-Type, Poison-Type, Fire-Type and Psychic-Type (As a Rock/Psychic type, Solrock takes half the damage of Normal, Flying, Poison, Fire and Psychic-Type attacks), Immunity with in reason to Ground-Type (Has the ability Levitate which makes it float in the air, making it immune to Ground-Type attacks)
Attack Potency: Wall level+ (Physically comparable to regular trainers like Jessie and James with the latter being able to throw a Tentacruel in the sky with this much force) | Multiverse level, likely Multiverse level+ (Can assist Victor/Gloria in taking down Dynamax pokémon. Victor/Gloria was capable of taking down Leon who as the strongest trainer in the Galar region, his team should be significantly stronger than the rental Pokémon that can fight Dynamaxed versions of Dialga and Palkia who by fighting were distorting all of space-time until eventually collapsing alongside being about to completely reset all the reality, which is made of an untold to likely an infinite number of universes, from destroying the concept of spirit)
Speed: Peak Human (Physically comparable to regular trainers who can move this fast) with Massively FTL+, likely Infinite reactions (Can react to his own Pokémon's attacks) | At least Massively FTL+, likely Infinite (Superior to Dynamaxed versions of who should be comparable if not superior to Solgaleo), Higher with Rock Polish (Rock Polish boost Solrock's Speed stat)
Lifting Strength: Class 5 (Should be physically comparable to Ash Ketchum who lifted a Cosmoem, which weighs 999.9 kg, in both hands without any visible effort) | At least Class Z, likely far higher (Superior to Dynamaxed versions of Dialga and Palkia who are far superior to Primal Groudon who in base form could raise continents)
Striking Strength: Wall level+ | Multiverse level, likely Multiverse level+
Durability: Island level (Physically comparable to regular trainers like Jessie and James who regularly survive attack from fully evolved Pokémons comparable to the likes of Abomasnow who formed a massive hailstorm) | Multiverse level, likely Multiverse level+, Higher with Cosmic Power (Cosmic Power boost Solrock's Defense and Sp. Def stats)
Stamina: Unknown | Superhuman (The average pokémon is naturally hardwired for combat with Solrock being far stronger than any regular pokémon found in the wild)
Range: Standard Melee, Extended Melee with his umbrella | Standard Melee, Tens of Meters with most attacks
Standard Equipment: Umbrella, Solrock's Pokéball
Intelligence: Below Average (Is an astonishingly bad pokémon trainer who merely makes use of the move Cosmic Power despite being knowledgeable on the fact that Dynamax Pokémon have the ability to reset stat changes, with the only way of stopping him being to use taunt on his solrock. Will sometimes get a brief moment of lucidity and use a damaging move)
Standard Tactics: Gentleman Martin will order his solrock to use Cosmic Power. On rare occassions, Martin will order it to use either Psychic or Rock Throw.
Weaknesses: Will rarely allow his Solrock to use an offensive move, leaving it open for attacks. Has no combat experience by himself and thus is left open to attacks. Pokéballs are able to be hacked and can be forcefully locked, preventing the Pokémon from coming out | Grass, Water, Bug, Ghost, Dark & Steel-Type attacks. Ground type attacks if it ceases to have the ability Levitate. Solrock may be dependent on solar energy, but little asserts such a dependency.
