Summary[]
A Composite Dinosaur is the hypothetical merging of all Dinosaurs into one entity giving them all the abilities and the highest stats of all Dinosaurs that have ever existed.
Powers and Stats[]
Tier: At least 9-B, at most 9-A, higher via piercing damage
Name: Composite Dinosaur
Origin: The Real World what-if? mergings
Gender: Varies
Age: Varies, the longest living dinosaurs were sauropods who lived anywhere from 60 years[1] to over 200 years[2]
Classification: Composite Entity, Dinosaur, Theropod, Sauropod, Dromaeosaurid, etc
Powers and Abilities:
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Bodily Weaponry (Claws, Teeth, Clubbed Tail, Hard Head, Spiked Tail, Horns, etc)
- Additional Limbs (Can use their tails as weapons)
- Acrobatics (Surface Running[3] and Hypermobility; Dinosaurs generally had a very large Cerebellum. Which is a part of the brain that controls balance, posture, motor control, and muscle tone)
- Enhanced Senses (Enhanced Vision; Binocular Vision, Night Vision and Ultraviolet Vision. Enhanced Smell and Echolocation; T. Rex had eyesight 5 times more precise than a Falcon[4] and could smell up to 10 miles away. Therizinosaurus might have utilized echolocation. Some dinosaurs might have been able to see UV light)
- Longevity (Could have lived for over 200 years[2])
- Possibly Poison Manipulation (Sinornithosaurus could have had a venomous bite[5])
- Limited Disease Manipulation (The grooves in the teeth of certain dinosaurs likely held decaying food meaning if they were to bite another creature it would induce sickness[6])
- Small Size (Type 0; The Microraptor was only about a foot tall) to Large Size (Type 1; The Patagotitan came in at 37m long[7])
- Flight (The Archaeopteryx had the ability to glide or even fly distances)
- Stealth Mastery and Camouflage (Dinosaurs like T. Rex was likely an ambush predator which would have required this skill. Velociraptors also used this skill. Some dinosaurs had colours/patterns specifically adapted for blending in with their environment)
- Social Influencing (Instigating Fear, Reputation and Leadership; Certain dinosaurs like Stegosaurus had parts of their bodies which could be used to warn off predators[8]. Troodons could scare off packs of large herbivores despite the massive strength difference. Dinosaurs like T. Rex or other apex predators were greatly feared due to their size and predatory nature. Albertosaurus's possibly lived in large groups of 26 members led by the biggest and strongest one they even seemed to be capable of organizing group hunts intelligently[9])
- Limited Preparation[9]
- Limited Underground Mobility (Oryctodromeus had the ability to burrow into the ground effectively[10])
- Surface Scaling (Scansoriopterygidae was capable of climbing trees)
- Sound Manipulation (Could produce noises close to 1000 hz which is over what can be permanently damaging to hearing)
- Self-Temperature Manipulation (Can regulate their own temperature with sails, plates, etc)
- Water Walking (Archaeopteryx could have ran on water[3])
- Limited Accelerated Development (Titanosaurs would start out only weigh a few pounds but within the next few weeks would grow to almost 100 lbs)
Resistance to:
- Ice Manipulation (Dinosaurs like Nanuqsaurus were specifically adapted to living in colder climates[11])
- Blunt Force Trauma and Piercing Damage (Ankylosaurus armour was likely thick enough to defend from small gunfire[12])
- Temperature Manipulation (It took over 30,000 years for the dinosaurs to eventually die off after the asteroid hit, at this point in time the earth could have been close to 550 degrees Fahrenheit)
- Likely limited Empathic Manipulation (Although they likely would be effected by certain emotions such as sadness, happiness, and possibly love. Certain more complex emotions such as guilt and long lasting sorrow would most likely be ineffective against a dinosaur)
- Camouflage (Should be able to smell or even see through most conventional camouflage)
- Poison Manipulation (Given their extreme weight and size it should take a very high dosage to lethally effect them)
Speed: Below Average Human to Athletic Human swimming speed (The speed of a Spinosaurus in the water is highly contested with some studies putting it at just 1 m/s to 7.7 m/s), Average Human flight speed (The Archaeopteryx could fly at 6 to 7 m/s[14]), Superhuman running speed (The Troodon can run at speeds of over 80km/h), possibly Subsonic combat and reaction speed (A Quetzalcoatlus was killed by a group of baby Tyrannosaur's)
Lifting Strength: At least Class 100, at most Class K (The Argentinosaurus weighed anywhere from 50 tons to 100 tons)
Striking Strength: At least Wall level+, at most Small Building level, higher with piercing damage
Durability: At least Wall level+, at most Small Building level (Should be comparable to their attack potency)
Stamina: Superhuman (Could likely have gone without food for up to 120 days[15]. The T. Rex likely had very high endurance[16]. Should be able to endure attacks far easier than any other Dinosaur in history)
Range: Several Meters with arms and legs (The Deinocheirus and Therizinosaurus had arms reaching over 2.4 meters[17]); Tens of Meters with tails and necks (The Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum has a neck over 15 meters long, the Diplodocus has a tail over 14 meters long)
Standard Equipment: None notable
Intelligence: Below Average (Troodons had an average EQ of 6.0[18] which is only about 1.4 points behind the average humans[19], and about 1.86 points ahead of Bottlenose Dolphins.[19] The T. Rex had more telencephalic neuron’s than Baboons and modern day tool making birds, it's also speculated that Tyrannosaurus had the capability to form cultures[20]. The brain size and amount of neuron’s even implied that some dinosaurs might have been capable of using tools and even planning.[21] It’s speculated that Troodons and other Raptors could have used insects as bait while fishing)
Weaknesses: Despite being able to survive fairly long without them, they still need to eat and drink to continue to function normally
Others[]
Notable Victories:
Notable Losses:
Composite Human (The Real World what-if? mergings) Composite Human's Profile (The battle took place in in the Cretaceous wilderness, speed was equal, they started 25 meters away from each other, the human had a car and an unloaded RPG with thermobaric warheads, and the Dinosaur had prior knowledge)
