~ Charles Barkley

Summary[]

Charles Barkley (バークレー チャールズ) was a professional B-Ball player and Wrestler famous for his talent and skill. He was considered one of the greatest Ballers to have ever lived and gained legendary status after many notable achievements and accolades; such as successfully besting the king of the monsters, Godzilla, in a pick up game on two separate occasions and being one of the Ballers seeked out by the Monstars to create the Ultimate B-Ball. After retiring from Basket Ball Barkley had a stunt as a Wrestler being a prominent member of the VGCW during it's golden years and being the only wrestler, aside from Ganondorf, to have had the title belt on 3 separate occasions. However, his life would forever be changed after allegedly using a Chaos Dunk to win a game which leveled the island of Manhattan. This would lead to the deaths of thousands of Ballers in "The Great B-Ball Purge" and the eventual illegalization of B-Ball.

Twelve years later, Charles is now raising his son, Hoopz, in a post-cyberpocalyptic Neo New York until another chaos dunk is performed in Manhattan, killing millions. Barkley is framed for the crime and is framed for being a member of the terrorist organization B.L.O.O.D.M.O.S.E.S. must go on the run while protecting his son and eventually stopping B.L.O.O.D.M.O.S.E.S. himself.

Note 1: The claim that Shadow Barkley was going to use the chaos dunk destroy planet earth in a literal sense is questionable. Shadow Barkley’s plan involves creating a new era of B-Ball from the ashes of the old, to form a new race of B-Ballers who were not shackled down by the old ways of the game. If Shadow Barkley really wanted to do this it would make sense that he’d need to leave the Planet Earth intact and only destroy it in a metaphorical sense. Eliminating all life on the planet and developing a new race of super Ballers would line up well with what he says in his speech. Though it is also true that the direct aftermath of a dunk with level of Negative B-Ball Energy is unknown, so to say that such a dunk would not just create a new planet in the place of the Earth is also an uncertainty.

Note 2: Barkley should not physically scale to the Chaos Dunk. There were two occasions where Barkley was present during a Chaos Dunk. On the first occasion it is true that he did survive the blast however this is heavily implied to be due to ~fate~ having intervened due to Barkley's role in redeeming B-Ball, this also applies to Barkley's infant son Hoopz who also survived said dunk. For the second instant there is no evidence that Barkley even survived, instead having the scene be framed in the narrative as him sacrificing himself.
