Summary[]

Carbon Christ is a Troop of KSD in Book of Mario: Thousands of Doors. After his father, Koopley, left him, he grew resentful towards him, and swore to exact revenge on not just his, but all fathers.

Ten years before the events of Thousands of Doors, Carbon and his father "invented everything." Though it's not clear, this could either mean Carbon and his father are geniuses, or deities. Due to Koopley's status as The Pope, it could very well be the ladder. However, after that, Carbon's father left to fight Hoko Saba in Hocktail House, but never returned, thus igniting Carbon's hatred of fathers.

When Mario Merloni and Goombell arrived in Bad Fortress, Carbon secretly studied them, and seeing as they exterminated the Fish and Troops of KSD in the area, decided to join them. In the band, Carbon only acts kind to Mario, and frequently insults and belittles everyone else, even going so far as to issue death threats.

After defeating Hoko Saba, Carbon accidentally rescues his father, who was apparently hiding in her womb. Carbon makes it very obvious that his true target was indeed his father, and not Hoko Saba. However, Koopley was able to escape his son's wrath, and made it back to Bad Fortress. Though not long after, Carbon destroys the city, only for it to be rebuilt by its surviving residents, who Koopley was among.

After Mario's journey, Carbon is implied to developed sympathy for others, though it can be taken as... Something else. He also reveals that he had feelings for Mario ever since he defeated Hoko Saba.
