Summary[]
Once a hero for the environment, Captain Planet was corrupted by his power and began to take far more extreme measures in protecting the environment. He sought to creating a reign of terror over the planet, turning his opposition and the environmentally unfriendly people into trees. Eventually turning the entire human population into trees, he returned home where he was destroyed by an army of woodpeckers, undoing his actions and leaving the earth free to be polluted to death once again.
