Summary[]
Boyfriend is the main protagonist of Friday Night Funkin’. He's a college dropout turned rapper who has fallen in love with Girlfriend, the daughter of two famous demon singers Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest who disapprove of Boyfriend and actively attempt to sabotage the time he gets to spend with his love. Boyfriend just wants to have a funky Friday night with his Girlfriend, but always gets interrupted with doing so. His overconfident personality often gets him and Girlfriend into tricky situations that he solves with his singing skill. Boyfriend faces several foes, many of which are hired directly by Daddy Dearest himself.

Standard Tactics: Boyfriend's main method of repelling attackers is to take them on in a singing battle. However, this is mainly due to his opponents being the ones to suggest a singing battle rather than traditional fights due to factors such as pride or old habits.
Weaknesses: Standard human weaknesses. Will become blue balled and have his bones crack if someone defeats him in a singing competition. Is too dumb to register danger, with the exception of lightning, which is something he gets bothered by.
