Ash Ketchum (know as Satoshi in the Japanese) is the main protagonist and sovereign god of the pokemon verse. As the self-insert of the series creator, Ash posses unlimited power over his verse and has the ability to be liked by nearly everyone, except for the mafia. His true form exists in a comatose state in the center of the pokemon universe, and if he were to ever awaken, everything would be reduced to Ash, according to an ancient prophecy,
